TSB’s banking app has suffered a major outage, leaving customers unable to view their accounts or make payments.

Users reported being hit with error messages instead of account information, with one saying: “We weren’t able to do that.”

In a statement on its status page and social media, TSB acknowledged the problem: “We’re aware some customers are experiencing issues with our Mobile Banking app and Internet Banking. We’re sorry for any inconvenience and are working to resolve this as soon as possible.”

While internet and mobile banking remain affected, TSB confirmed that telephone banking and branch services continue to function normally.

The disruption, which began in the late morning, has lasted for hours—leaving customers unable to access their money on the first day of the month, a time when account activity is typically high.
